Retirement Benefit

Available to all members of the Association. Any member promoted to the Second Schedule can maintain membership in the plan and derive same benefits by paying his/her contribution to the scheme.

Each member will make a monthly contribution of $5.00.

Any member who tenders his/her resignation i.e non-payment of dues to Prison Officers? Association  (POA) except in cases of promotion as of above, shall not be entitled to any benefit in this plan

Retirement benefit will be paid on retirement form the service this benefit can be assessed by submitting a copy of  your Notification of Retirement or General Order advising of your retirement date.
